How this directory works
A free listing of UK electricians, organised by town and by job, built so that finding someone takes a minute rather than an afternoon.
What we do
We list electricians across every UK town and city with more than 10,000 people, alongside plain information about what each job involves and what it usually costs. You contact the business directly using the details on their page.
What we do not do
- We take no commission and sell no leads. Nothing you do on this site costs an electrician money, so nobody has to price that in.
- The one paid thing is for businesses. A business can claim its listing for free and correct its own details. Premium, £12 a month plus VAT, adds customers’ enquiries by email, a price list, photos and availability, and every listing’s phone number is on the page for anyone to ring. What Premium includes.
- We do not rank or review businesses. There are no scores and no verdicts here. We publish facts about who trades where and at what.
- We do not copy ratings or reviews from other platforms. Those belong to the sites that collected them, and a rating lifted out of its context stops meaning very much.
How listings get here
Businesses are found through Google local search, which is where most UK electricians keep a current public listing. What we take from it is the trading name, the phone number, the hours the business publishes, how long it says it has traded and the place its listing names. Each page shows the date its listing was last checked, and anything not re-checked within eighteen months drops down the list and then comes off.
That is one source, and we would rather say so than imply more. Most listings here carry no registered address, no company number and no scheme membership, because we have not got those for them. Where a page does show an address, a postcode or a scheme number, it is there because it was found and checked, never because it was inferred from the name or the area.
Getting something changed
Every listing has a Modify listing button that reaches us. Corrections are free and unconditional. If you want your business taken off, say so and it comes off, with no questions and no attempt to talk you out of it.
A town is missing
A town gets a page once at least one checked electrician is based in it, covers it or is near enough to reach it, because an empty page is not much use to anybody. If your town is not here and you know somebody good, tell us.
