About A J Robson Electrical Ltd
A J Robson Electrical Ltd is an electrical engineering business in Aberdeen serving industrial and commercial clients since 1987. The company installs, repairs and maintains electrical systems for factories, processing plants and industrial sites across the area. Services listed are installation of new and replacement systems, repair and maintenance, fault tracing, design and installation of control systems from simple to advanced setups, and sourcing of obscure spares and out-of-production components.
The business works in the industrial, petro-chemical, commercial and domestic sectors. In the petro-chemical field, engineers are qualified for installation of electrical systems in EEX environments and keep up with ATEX standards. A J Robson is a member of NICEIC and SELECT, a Scottish electrical contractors' association. The company holds ISO, BSI and SafeContractor accreditation and operates a breakdown service for fish processing and filleting factories. It is also a nominated contractor in the Aberdeen area for Square D automation platforms IHC and LEXCOM.
A J Robson was founded by Sandy Robson and became a limited company before moving to larger premises in 1988 to increase office and workshop space. Neil Robson joined the company, extending its process and control capabilities. The business keeps engineers versed in all areas of the electrical industry and designs and installs control systems for commercial and domestic automation, including flexible home installations that change how domestic wiring is completed.
