About AlphaOne Electrics Ltd
AlphaOne Electrics Ltd is an electrical business in Truro founded by RAF veterans Dan Sylvester and Dion Sutherns, together with Dan's wife Claire. The business carries out complete house rewiring, electrical safety inspections, fuse board upgrades, indoor and outdoor lighting, smart home installations and emergency electrical repairs for residential and commercial clients across Cornwall.
The services listed also include solar PV and battery storage systems, heat pump installations, and EV charger installations. The business works with solar and battery manufacturers and offers EV charging units from Hypervolt, Myenergi, Easee, Rolec and Vchrgd. Heat pump systems are designed and installed to reduce running costs and carbon footprint. The business was one of the first in the UK to install Hypervolt chargers.
AlphaOne Electrics covers the whole of Cornwall. Work begins with a free consultation and comprehensive professional survey to assess energy usage and goals. A personalised proposal with a fixed price quote follows, and installation is carried out by certified installers. The business holds MCS accreditation and is a member of stringent consumer codes and certification bodies in the UK. Dan Sylvester won the Rising Star award at the British Renewable Energy Awards in 2026.
