About B Safe Electrical Services Ltd
B Safe Electrical Services Ltd is a family-run electrical business based in Peterborough, established in 1983 by Ross and Anna Cameron. The business has traded for 40 years and now operates with a team that includes their son Lee, who heads the Solar Division. The firm carries out domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work for homeowners, builders, architects and contractors.
Domestic services include full or part rewiring, new fuse boards, extensions, lighting, garden wiring, fault diagnosis, electrical surveys, new builds, smoke and fire detection, alarms, CCTV and external lighting. Heat pump wiring is also offered. Commercial and industrial work covers PAT testing, door entry systems, fire alarms and ventilation system maintenance. B Safe Solar, a dedicated division, installs solar panels, battery storage and electric vehicle charging points for homes and businesses.
The business covers an approximate 50-mile radius around Peterborough. Work begins with a visit from a contracts manager to assess the property and discuss the job. The team includes Brian Evans, the longest serving employee since 1997, and an apprentice electrician. Recent projects include new build sites in the area and a refurbishment at Stamford Walk.
