About Blackdown Electrical Services & Testing
Blackdown Electrical Services & Testing is an electrician business based in Bideford serving Bath, Bristol, Taunton, Swindon, Hemyock and surrounding areas. The business carries out full and partial rewires, consumer unit upgrades, electrical installations, fault finding, repairs and electrical testing for homes and commercial premises. Domestic work includes socket and switch installations, lighting, additional circuits, electric shower and appliance connections, and electrical work for kitchens and renovations. Commercial services cover installations, EICRs and electrical testing, fault finding, repairs, lighting upgrades, distribution board upgrades and electrical work for refurbishments and fit-outs.
Jobs begin with a free consultation to assess the work required. The business then provides a clear quote outlining the recommended work, what is included and the expected timescale. Electrical work is completed safely and professionally with minimal disruption to the property. Once finished, all work is tested and certified before handover. The business is NAPIT registered, meaning all work is completed to current UK wiring regulations. Blackdown Electrical Services & Testing has 13+ years experience and is fully insured. Emergency callouts are available. The business also installs EV chargers and carries out PAT testing and EICRs for landlords and businesses. Work can be planned around business hours where practical to minimise disruption to commercial premises.
