About Brilec Electrical Services
Brilec Electrical Services is run by Brian, a NICEIC-registered electrician based in Letchworth with over 30 years' experience in the trade. The business carries out full and partial rewires, renovations and extensions, consumer unit upgrades, fault finding and general domestic electrical work. Garden and outdoor lighting is fitted from small courtyards to larger properties. Smart home integration is also offered, including Lightwave smart lighting and heating control, Home Assistant whole-home automation and Shelly-based smart automation with relay wiring. Smart garden lighting and retrofitting existing lighting to smart control are available.
Brilec Electrical Services covers Letchworth, Baldock, Hitchin, Stevenage, Royston, Harpenden, St Albans and surrounding Hertfordshire. The business is NICEIC-registered under the Domestic Installer scheme and is a Lightwave Pro installer. Brian runs a live testbed of Home Assistant systems in his own home, refined through years of daily use, combined with hands-on Shelly wiring experience. Electrical and smart home work are planned together from the start by the same qualified person, rather than as two separate jobs. Work begins with a site visit and a clear, upfront quote before any work is booked. Brian carries out the physical work personally.
