About Cader Electrical
Cader Electrical is an electrician business in Sudbury led by Carl Derrick, a time-served electrician serving homeowners and small local businesses across the Stour Valley from Sudbury to Bury St Edmunds and surrounding villages. The business was established to support local people and arranges appointments during early evenings and weekends.
The services listed are fault finding for repeated tripping, intermittent power, flickering lights, burning smells and discoloured accessories; small jobs and upgrades including replacement sockets, switches, lighting, smoke alarms, fans and outside power; Electrical Installation Condition Reports with clear reporting and supporting photographs; and consumer unit assessment and replacement where there is a genuine safety or practical benefit.
From the first enquiry through to completed work, customers deal directly with Carl. An initial discussion or visit to understand planned work is free. For planned work, limited checks or measurements may be carried out to prepare the quotation safely and accurately. Fault diagnosis and formal electrical testing are chargeable services. Completed work is checked using procedures suited to the circuit and work undertaken. Protective matting, careful preparation and tidy working are standard. The scope, options and limitations are explained before work begins.
Cader Electrical is NAPIT registered and holds public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Carl has experience across electrical installation, inspection, testing, fault finding and wider building-services work.
