About CK Electrical Testing Ltd
CK Electrical Testing Ltd is an electrical testing company based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. It has grown from a single contractor into a team of engineers carrying out fixed installation testing, emergency lighting testing, fixed appliance testing and portable appliance testing across East Anglia.
The business tests electrical wiring in industrial, commercial and domestic properties to ensure compliance with current regulations under the Electricity at Work Regulations Act 1989. Engineers assess sites to confirm that electrical installations are safe, and they inspect and test fixed appliances and portable appliances. Emergency lighting systems are tested to ensure they function in an emergency.
CK Electrical Testing Ltd covers the whole of East Anglia. The company has over 14 years' experience in the electrical testing industry. All engineers hold City and Guilds qualifications including the 2330 Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations, the 2391 Level 3 in Inspection, Testing, Design and Certification of Electrical Installations, and the 2377/2 in Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. Engineers are certified for work in confined spaces, on railways through PTS approval, and hold DBS approval, asbestos awareness certification and National Water Hygiene Certification. The business works around customer schedules to minimise disruption to commercial and industrial operations.
