About Cornwall Electrics
Cornwall Electrics is a commercial and industrial electrical engineering business based in Lostwithiel. The company carries out installations, upgrades and alterations for commercial, industrial, domestic, healthcare, marine and controlled environments. Services listed include distribution and rewires, testing and compliance work such as EICRs and portable appliance testing, planned and reactive maintenance, power-factor correction and voltage optimisation, lighting systems including LED and emergency lighting, EV charging and battery storage, air conditioning and refrigeration, fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control, and marine and industrial controls.
Cornwall Electrics works across Cornwall and Devon by arrangement. The business employs its own team directly. Work begins with a site visit to assess each project and its constraints, followed by a quotation. The company holds NICEIC Approved Contractor and Domestic Installer status, is REFCOM F-Gas-certified, and is an OZEV-authorised EV chargepoint installer. It provides AP(LV) services for healthcare and critical estates, combining formal safety procedures with operational competence. Out-of-hours response is available by arranged service level agreement. Cornwall Electrics was established in 2014 and incorporated as a company. The team delivers work with clear lines of responsibility, practical communication and the records required by facilities teams and dutyholders.
