About DOB Electrical
DOB Electrical is an electrician business based in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. It carries out domestic and commercial electrical work, including full and partial house rewires, consumer unit upgrades, new sockets, switches and dedicated circuits, interior and exterior lighting, fault finding and repairs, and electrical work for extensions and renovations. The business also installs EV chargers, carries out electrical installation condition reports for landlords and homeowners, and provides planned maintenance and emergency call-outs for commercial customers.

Towns served include Ampthill, Flitwick, Bedford, Luton, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Shefford, Biggleswade, Harpenden, St Albans and Berkhamsted. Work begins with a survey where required, followed by a clear written quote before installation starts. All notifiable work is tested and certified, and the business leaves each site clean and tidy.
DOB Electrical is NICEIC approved and CHAS accredited. The business holds public liability insurance and all jobs are backed in writing for 12 months from completion. Quotes are free and fixed. The business works in occupied homes with care and minimal disruption, and explains options in plain English before work begins.
