About Doug The Plug
Doug The Plug is an electrician based in Knutsford, run by Doug Cridland. The business carries out full house rewires, consumer unit upgrades, lighting installation, extra sockets and garden lighting across Cheshire and South Manchester. Work includes recessed downlighters with energy-efficient lamps, contemporary light fittings, security lighting and feature lighting for kitchens and other rooms. Doug also completes electrical installation condition reports and issues certificates under the latest regulations, 18th Edition BS7671.
Jobs start with a visit to measure and discuss the work needed, followed by a written quote. All work is tested and certified at the end. Doug often works alongside other trades on renovation and redesign projects, and can advise on interior design lighting schemes. The business covers Knutsford, Northwich, Cheadle Hulme and surrounding areas of Cheshire and South Manchester.
Doug Cridland has over 20 years of experience in electrical installation. The business is certified and covered by NAPIT. Certificates are issued by Elecsa and arrive within about a week of completion. Doug works for homeowners on rewires during house renovations, kitchen and bathroom refits, and new-build fit-outs.
