About Dreamy Electrics
Dreamy Electrics is a family-run electrician business based in Helensburgh. It carries out domestic electrical work including rewiring, consumer unit upgrades, extra sockets, lighting, fault finding, EV charger installation, outdoor sockets and security lights. The business also fits smoke and fire alarms, smart systems such as Hive, circuit breakers and electric heaters, and provides power supply to garages and sheds.
The business covers Helensburgh, Dumbarton, Cardross, Rhu, Alexandria, Balloch, Renton, Loch Lomond, Bowling, Old Kilpatrick, Clydebank and Glasgow's West End. Work begins with a visit to assess the property and provide a quotation. For rewiring, the business lifts carpets, floorboards and skirting boards to access cables under floors and within walls, and channels are dug where light switches run. Walls that need channelling receive patch repairs with plaster. The power is switched off while work takes place, and the business aims to minimise disruption and leave homes clean and tidy.
Dreamy Electrics is NAPIT registered, meaning all work meets current electrical regulations. The business is family-run and works for homeowners and businesses. A three-bedroom home can be rewired in four days. EV chargers from brands including Ohme, Hypervolt, EO, Pod Point, Andersen, Rolec and Tesla are installed, with a dedicated circuit and built-in safety protection.
