About DRL Electrics
DRL Electrics is an electrician business based in Chesterfield, established in 2019. It carries out domestic, commercial and industrial electrical installation, inspection and testing work. The services listed are electrical installation condition reports (EICR) for landlords, lighting upgrades to LED, rewires, new electrical installations, fuse box upgrades, electric shower installation, additional sockets, summer houses and hot tubs. The business also offers property maintenance services.
DRL Electrics is fully accredited by the National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers and is authorised to carry out landlord EICRs, which have been a legal requirement since July 2020. All testers are fully qualified and work is carried out to BS7671 wiring regulations. Once rewiring is complete, the work is fully tested to ensure it complies with Part P of the Building Regulations and full certification is issued. New installations are tested and inspected to comply with current wiring regulations.
The business has worked on projects including electrical installation for Drainage 2000, Christmas light display installation at the Tithe Barn in Cosby, Leicester, and electrical testing for the Pomegranate Theatre in Chesterfield. DRL Electrics also carries out tests and inspections on behalf of Chesterfield Borough Council. The business is a member of Checkatrade.
