About DTEC Electrical
DTEC Electrical is a family-run electrical business led by David Thomson, based in Largs. The business works in homes, rental properties and commercial sites across Greenock, Inverclyde and North Ayrshire. David has worked in the trade for more than 30 years.
The services listed are consumer unit upgrades, full and partial house rewires, electrical repairs and fault finding, socket installation, lighting including LED and motion sensors, cooker supplies, shower circuits, home EV chargers, garden lighting and garden-office power. The business also fits smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms, and carries out commercial electrical work for shops and offices including distribution boards and emergency lighting. A 24/7 emergency electrician service is available for power loss, tripping circuits, hot sockets, burning smells and sparks.
DTEC Electrical covers Greenock, Gourock, Port Glasgow, Wemyss Bay, West Kilbride, Kilmacolm, Inverkip, Fairlie and nearby towns. Work begins with a visit to check the circuits and listen to what the customer needs. For planned work, a clear written quote is given before the job starts. The business is fully insured, City and Guilds qualified and 18th Edition trained. Work follows BS 7671 rules and is tested. Relevant paperwork and certificates are supplied where required.
