About EG Electrical Services
EG Electrical Services is an electrical contractor based in March, Cambridgeshire, run by Ellis Green. The business has been trading for over 15 years and carries out domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work. Ellis is fully qualified and certified to work in accordance with current regulations.
Domestic services include EV charger installation, new sockets and light fixtures, replacement appliances and consumer units, partial or full rewiring, Wi-Fi deployment, smart home controls, LED lighting installations, electrical testing and inspection with safety certificates, and security systems including CCTV and access control. Commercial work covers new sockets, equipment connections, LED lighting upgrades, smart controls, emergency lighting, distribution boards, network infrastructure, security systems and CCTV for offices, shops and small to medium businesses. Industrial services include machinery connections and temporary power installations for factories and small to medium industrial premises.
The business covers Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas, with regular clients in Hertfordshire and London. Ellis works with contractors in neighbouring counties to extend the service area. Work begins with a visit to discuss requirements, and the business undertakes fault finding, repairs, additions and complete rewiring. EG Electrical Services has completed kitchen refurbishments with major rewiring, new outlets and bespoke LED strip lighting integrated with smart controls. The business has donated time to construct Christmas lighting displays in the local community for seven years.
