About EIS Midlands
EIS Midlands Ltd is an electrical and mechanical engineering business established in 2010, based in Gloucestershire. The company provides design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems for major loss insurance work, public buildings, machinery installation and mines and quarries. Services include emergency lighting with centralised battery systems, fire alarm and intruder systems, access control, CCTV and life safety systems, structured cabling and telecommunications, building management service wiring, and electrical testing and commissioning. The business is an approved installer of Rolec EV car charging points, with works often eligible for government grants.
EIS Midlands operates throughout the South West, Midlands and surrounding areas. Work begins with initial enquiry and design, progressing through to completion and handover. The company offers detailed cost analysis and provides survey reports with photographic backing for major loss insurance work. Engineers establish rectification works whilst maintaining existing systems to prevent further losses from shutdowns. Following installation, the business provides breakdown cover, planned maintenance and reactive maintenance.
EIS Midlands has worked on projects including a £1m major loss insurance scheme at Halo Leisure in Hereford and a £100k post-16 building at Alderman Knight School in Cheltenham. The company holds public liability insurance and operates from modern offices in Gloucestershire with in-house software and design capabilities covering RIBA Stage 2 through to RIBA Stage 6.
