About ELC Electrical
ELC Electrical is an electrical services company based in Edinburgh, working across Edinburgh, Midlothian and the Lothians. It was established as a sister company of Edinburgh Landlord Certificates by that firm's founder Ali McLeod, together with Rory Mair, who founded Brightwire Electrical.
The company works with landlords, homeowners and businesses, with years of experience supporting them. Its work covers installations, repairs, inspections and ongoing maintenance. Domestic services include electrical installation, fuse boards, alarm installation and data cabling. Rewiring is offered to upgrade older wiring so that a property meets current standards.
Landlord services include the Electrical Installation Condition Report, portable appliance testing, emergency light tests and the smoke and heat alarm certificate. The business also offers a free guide to alarm system requirements for download, and quotes for property owners who want to book or enquire about its services.
