About Electra Compliance
Electra Compliance is an electrician business in Paignton providing electrical inspections, fault diagnosis and compliance certification across Honiton, Exeter and East Devon. The business specialises in Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) for homeowners, landlords and small businesses, alongside consumer unit upgrades, smoke and heat alarm installations, PAT testing, EV charger wiring and fault finding for tripping circuits.
An EICR involves detailed testing of wiring, circuits, earthing and protective devices to assess the safety of the fixed installation. The business provides photographs with every report showing the incoming supply head, consumer unit interior, test stickers, gas and water bond connections, and sample circuit readings. During each EICR, Electra Compliance carries out free consumer unit servicing, including tightening all terminals and mechanically testing RCDs and RCBOs. Minor repairs such as faulty sockets, switches or light pendants are replaced at the time of test as part of the service.
The business covers Honiton, Exeter and the wider East Devon area. Electra Compliance is inspected annually by NICEIC and carries out compliance work for public sector organisations including Ministry of Defence environments and local housing providers. The business works with landlords and letting agents to meet current rental safety regulations. Homebuyer electrical inspections, insurance investigation reports and emergency fault finding are also offered. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm.
