About Electrical Testing Contractors
Electrical Testing Contractors is an electrical testing business based in Ayrshire, covering the Scottish central belt. It carries out electrical inspection, testing and maintenance for domestic, commercial and industrial sites and premises. The services listed are electrical inspection condition reports, emergency lighting testing, kitchens and extensions testing, portable appliance testing and remedial works.
Electrical inspection condition reports are suitable for landlords and homeowners who want a report detailing the condition of their fixed electrical system. The report includes a full formal visual inspection and test of the fixed electrical system and reveals if any electrical circuits or equipment is overloaded, finds potential shock and fire hazards in the installation, identifies defective DIY electrical work and highlights any lack of earth bonding. Emergency lighting testing is offered for businesses and organisations. Portable appliance testing is carried out on portable appliances provided by the landlord. Where defects or damage is observed, remedial works are required to satisfy the duties imposed on duty holders.
Electrical Testing Contractors has traded for over 30 years. All testers are approved electricians and qualified electrical test engineers. Staff hold 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations and City and Guilds 2391/2 Test and Inspection certification. Tests are carried out with fully calibrated testing equipment. The business arranges access to properties by contacting tenants or letting agents direct, and collects keys from estate agents or places of work. Free quotations are provided.
