Ellis Electrical Services is a family-run electrical business based in Ely, founded in 2004 by Steve Ellis. The team includes Jake Ellis, Steve's son, who joined as an apprentice in 2015 and is now a fully qualified electrician, and Ben Thomas, who has worked in electrical distribution and domestic and commercial electrics since 2006. The business provides domestic, commercial and industrial electrical services across a 40-mile radius from Ely and further afield.
Services include new builds, extensions and renovations, consumer unit replacements, smart home technologies, electrical vehicle charge point installation, PAT testing, electrical safety checks, energy saving lighting, outdoor and emergency lighting, and CCTV installation. The business also offers free electrical advice and carries out maintenance contracts for care homes, GP surgeries and veterinary practices. A 24-hour emergency service runs 365 days a year, with free telephone or video call support where possible.
