ETS Electrical is a family-run electrical business based in Bridgwater, Somerset. It carries out domestic electrical design and installation, including complete rewires, fuse board replacements, additional sockets, lighting circuits, garden lighting, telephone points, TV and home entertainment systems, and smoke alarms. The business also serves landlords and the commercial sector with landlord electrical certificates, fire alarm design and installation, emergency lighting, and PAT testing of portable appliances.
ETS Electrical covers the wider Somerset area. Domestic work starts with a visit to discuss the job, and a quote follows. Landlord electrical certificates involve a full inspection of the wiring and electrical installation, after which an Electrical Installation Condition Report is issued electronically to declare whether the installation is safe or if remedial work is required. Fire alarm systems are supplied and installed for rental properties including shared houses, from full Grade A LD1 systems to stand-alone mains wired smoke detectors. Emergency lighting is designed, installed and tested to illuminate exit routes. PAT testing is carried out on both 230V and 110V appliances in accordance with the Institute of Electrical Engineers' code of practice, and covers bed and breakfasts, mobile entertainment equipment and other businesses.
