About FM Electrical
FM Electrical is a family-run electrician business based in Perth, covering Perthshire, Dundee and Fife. It carries out domestic and commercial electrical work including rewiring, consumer unit replacements, bathroom and kitchen installations, smoke alarm installations, inspection and test, fault finding, earthing and extension wiring. Lighting services include external lighting, emergency lighting, LED upgrades and additional sockets and downlights.
Work begins with a visit to discuss the job, and a free quote is provided. The business is City and Guilds approved and holds City and Guilds Inspection and Test certification. It also holds PASMA and IPAF qualifications and complies with 18th Edition Requirements for electrical installations. FM Electrical issues certificates after inspection and test work is complete to ensure properties meet current regulations.
The business works for homeowners and commercial clients on jobs ranging from single socket installations to full rewiring and extension wiring alongside builders and planners. Lighting can be fitted to brighten exterior spaces such as soffits, fencing and walls. Emergency lighting is installed to support health and safety requirements. LED lighting upgrades replace older systems with long-life versions. The team cleans and tidies the work area after each job is finished.
