About Glenfield Electrical
Glenfield Electrical is a commercial, domestic and industrial electrician business in Leicester, run by Philip and Catherine Houlder since 2013. It operates across Leicester and throughout the Midlands and is a member of NICEIC, the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting.
Services include electrical installation, maintenance, testing and inspections, rewires and wiring, LED lighting installation, and electric vehicle charger installation. The business also installs domestic and commercial solar PV systems. Work is carried out to BS 7671 IEE regulations.
The business employs seven apprentices and works for retail, construction, logistics, manufacturing, health and education sectors, as well as landlords managing rental properties. Glenfield Electrical is accredited by MCS, CHAS Elite, OZEV, Which?, Electrical Safety Council and CheckATrade. The team is regularly assessed by NICEIC. Returning customers account for 74 per cent of the work. Electricians are trained to be prompt, polite and professional, and the business clears up after each job.
