Hackwood Electrical is an electrical contractor based in the Black Country, working in Stourbridge, Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Dudley and across the West Midlands, with projects nationally as well. It was established in 2020 and became Hackwood Electrical Ltd in 2025, with Aidan Hackwood and Tom Rogers as directors and a core full-time team of three, backed by a wider network of contractors brought in when projects demand it.
Domestic work includes full and partial rewires, consumer unit upgrades, lighting design and installation, smart home systems, EV charger installation, kitchen and bathroom electrics and fault finding. Commercial work covers office refurbishments, retail fit-outs, restaurant installations, lighting upgrades, power distribution and access control. Industrial work includes three phase power distribution, high-level containment, LED retrofits and machinery installations.
The business also installs solar PV and battery storage, and offers care plans and inspection services such as EICRs, emergency lighting checks, fire alarm servicing, PAT testing and fixed wire testing. A separate team handles planned maintenance, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, air conditioning maintenance and CCTV maintenance.
