About HOJ Electrical Ltd
HOJ Electrical Ltd is an electrical contracting business based in Hereford, founded in 2019 by Harry Jones. The firm carries out domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work, including rewiring, socket and lighting installations, EV charger fitting, electrical repairs and fault-finding. It also provides testing and inspection services, fire and security installations, biogas and CHP systems, ATEX-regulated hazardous environment work, agricultural electrical work on farms, automated machinery installations, panel building and network infrastructure projects.
The business covers Hereford, Leominster, Ross-on-Wye, Ledbury, Bromyard and Hay-on-Wye, and works nationwide for commercial and industrial clients. It offers a 24/7 emergency call-out service, with a 1-hour response time in Hereford for urgent electrical issues such as power loss and tripping breakers. Domestic services include full house rewires, partial circuit updates, electrical repairs, installations for extensions and renovations, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports for homeowners selling or renting out properties.
HOJ Electrical Ltd has a 4-year ongoing partnership with one of Herefordshire's largest energy providers, and has delivered projects valued at up to £7 million. The team applies the same standards to small domestic jobs as to large commercial contracts. Work is carried out to current wiring regulations, and EV chargers and other installations are certified for use.
