About Holloway Electrical Ltd
Holloway Electrical Ltd is a Cornwall-based electrician and solar installer based in St Austell with 18 years' experience. The business carries out solar installations, battery storage, EV charging and general electrical work. Services listed include rewires, fault finding, solar panels, battery storage and smart EV charging. All work is fitted by the business's own in-house team.
The business serves St Austell, Truro, Falmouth, Newquay, Bodmin, Liskeard, Fowey, Wadebridge, Looe, Indian Queens and surrounding villages across Cornwall. Jobs start with a survey carried out by the same team that will fit the installation. For residential solar and battery storage installations, the full cost of equipment and labour qualifies for 0% VAT under the government scheme until 31 March 2027, after which the rate reverts to 5%. Commercial and business installations are charged VAT at the standard rate.
Recent work includes kitchen electrics, garage power supplies, sockets and EV charger installations. The business states that most of its work comes from word of mouth and repeat customers, and sites are left clean and tidy after work is completed.
