About Home Rewire Glasgow Electricians
Home Rewire Glasgow Electricians is a family-run rewiring business based in Glasgow, founded by Jamie Currie in 2000 and still run by the Currie family today. The firm rewires homes only, replacing entire electrical installations and bringing properties up to current BS 7671 wiring regulations. Services include full house rewires, flat rewires for tenements and modern flats, fuse box replacements, electrical safety checks, EICR certificates and EV charger installation.
The business covers Glasgow, Edinburgh, the central belt, Ayrshire, Stirling and surrounding towns across Scotland. House rewires are completed in 1 to 2 days with free plastering included. Flat rewires involve factor liaison and routing between floors. Each job is carried out by NICEIC-approved electricians from the firm's own teams, finished neatly and signed off with full certification. Work begins with a survey visit, followed by a quote and the rewire itself.
Home Rewire Glasgow Electricians has rewired over 8,000 homes since 2000. All electricians are NICEIC approved. The business holds 800 plus five-star reviews. Jamie Currie developed the business model by applying speed and efficiency from his early years rewiring local authority homes to private homes with added care. Recent projects include full rewires in Glasgow West End, Callander, Crieff, Renfrewshire and Paisley, and rewiring of 19th-century properties.
