About I Parker Electricals
I Parker Electricals is an electrician business based in Rowlands Gill, Gateshead, run by Ian Parker. The business has over 26 years' experience and carries out rewires, consumer unit upgrades, new installations, fault finding, electrical installation condition reports, EV chargers, solar panel installations and commercial electrical work for homes and light industrial units.
The business covers Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, Consett, Blaydon and surrounding areas. Work starts with a visit or description of the job, followed by a written fixed price quote. Every circuit is tested to the 18th Edition wiring regulations and certified at handover. For rewires, the business plans each room's layout with the customer before work begins, chases walls and makes them good, and leaves every room tidy at the end of each day. A modern consumer unit with surge protection and individual circuit protection is included in rewires. Dust sheets are laid throughout, and cables are finished straight and clean.
I Parker Electricals is NAPIT Approved and Part P registered for self-certification of notifiable work with Building Control. The business is fully insured for public liability on every job. Ian carries out all work himself rather than using subcontractors, and much of the work comes from word of mouth and repeat customers. Free quotes are offered with one clear fixed price provided in writing before work starts.
