About Ian Legg Electrical Services
Ian Legg Electrical Services is an electrician business based in Braintree, established in 1998. Ian Legg started the business and has been in the electrical industry for 40 years. The team includes Luke, who completed an electrical apprenticeship with Ian, and Alex, who has worked with the business for 4 years. The business carries out domestic, industrial and commercial electrical work, including general lighting and power, landlord EICR testing, full or partial rewires, CCTV installation, three phase distribution equipment, consumer unit upgrades, EV charger installation and fault finding.
The business covers Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester, Dunmow, Witham, Halstead, Coggeshall and nearby areas and villages. Work begins with a visit to assess the job, and a quote is provided. All work is carried out to the current IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) by fully qualified electricians. Upon finishing a job, an electrical installation certificate is issued, and the work is registered with local authority building control where required under Part P of building regulations.
Ian Legg Electrical Services is NICEIC approved and holds public liability insurance. The team stays current with changes to electrical technology and legislation. Free quotes and estimates are offered at all times.
