About IDM Energy
IDM Energy is an electrical and renewable energy business based in Inverness, serving all of Scotland. The company supplies solar PV systems, air source heat pumps, micro wind turbines and EV charging points for domestic and commercial properties, with design, installation and maintenance. Electrical services include new installations, servicing, additional sockets and circuits, smoke alarm systems, EICR testing, PAT testing and electrical safety inspections. Property and facilities services cover joinery, general maintenance, house and business refurbishments, new kitchens and bathrooms, door and window replacements, groundworks and 24/7 emergency response.
IDM Energy holds MCS accreditation for solar and heat pump work, RECC accreditation for air source heat pumps, and OZEV approval for EV charging point installation. The business operates across Scotland from its Inverness base, offering reactive and pre-planned installation, maintenance and management of renewable energy and electrical services.
The business works with commercial, industrial and residential customers. Jobs begin with a visit to understand each customer's needs, and the company provides consultancy advice on energy efficiency, cost savings and sustainability. Renewable technology installation is carried out alongside electrical work and property maintenance to create integrated services for homes and businesses.
