About IE Electricals
IE Electricals is an electrician and electrical contractor based in Sheffield, carrying out domestic and commercial electrical installation, testing and certification work. The business covers Sheffield and the surrounding areas, including 18 districts across the city and the nearby towns of Chesterfield, Dronfield and Rotherham.
Domestic work ranges from sockets and lighting through to consumer unit upgrades, new circuits, rewiring, fault finding and outdoor power supplies. Commercial work includes installations, testing, certification and panel building for businesses, landlords and developers. Kitchen and bathroom electrical work is handled with specific rules around where sockets, switches and light fittings can sit relative to water sources, and home offices are wired with the circuits needed for multiple devices. Fault finding covers tripping consumer units, flickering lights and dead sockets, with the cause identified before repair work starts.
Every job starts with a call or enquiry describing the work. The scope is confirmed either by phone or with a visit to the property, and a written quote is given before anything is booked in. Work is carried out tidily, with the property made good as the job progresses. All electrical work follows BS 7671, the current UK wiring regulations standard. Notifiable work under Part P, such as a new circuit or consumer unit replacement, is certified through a competent person scheme or through building control. Ero Itua runs the business and enquiries reach him directly by phone or email.
