Install Electrical Contractors Ltd is based in Tamworth and was founded in 2008. The company is run by directors Paul Thomas and Steven McQuaker, both of whom completed electrical apprenticeships and worked as Project Managers and Contract Managers before establishing the business. Install Electrical Contractors works alongside an in-house Mechanical Contracting sister company to offer combined services.
The business carries out electrical design, installation and testing across health care, hotels, leisure facilities and other commercial sectors. It provides a complete in-house mechanical and electrical design and installation solution, either working from a consultant's specification or from initial building stage design. Designers produce sustainable schemes to deliver projects with cost certainty and minimal design changes. The business is fully up to date with building regulation requirements and has experience in designing projects to BREEAM standard. Portable appliance testing and electrical wiring testing with certificates are offered.
Install Electrical Contractors is a member of NICEIC and the Electrical Contractors Association, and holds accreditation with Safe Contractor, Construction Line and CHAS. All operatives are qualified to 18th Edition BS7671:18, ECS/CSCS registered, IPAF, PASMA and MEWP trained, first aid trained, CRB checked, and SSSTS and SMSTS trained. The business carries professional indemnity insurance of £5,000,000 and public liability insurance of £10,000,000.
