About K G Electrical Contractors
K G Electrical Contractors is a NICEIC-registered electrician business based in St Albans, run by Kyle Gamble. The business was founded in 2011 as a sole trader and became a limited company in 2013. It carries out domestic and commercial electrical work across St Albans, Harpenden, Potters Bar and Hertfordshire, including rewires, fuse board replacements, socket installations, lighting design and installation, EV charger installations, fault finding, and electrical condition reports.
The business is known for garden lighting design and installation, creating schemes for pathways, driveways, patios, pergolas, decking, water features and tree uplighting. It also installs feature and accent lighting, security lighting and low-energy LED systems. Commercial work includes office, retail and hotel lighting, workshop and warehouse lighting, and full electrical installations for building developments. Residential services cover indoor and outdoor lighting, electric heating, ventilation and storage heater installation and repair.
K G Electrical Contractors is TrustMark-registered and fully insured for public liability. All work is completed to UK regulations and standards. The team has grown from Kyle's initial sole operation to include trained electricians and support staff. Recent projects include electrical fit-outs at Gymtro Training Club and a Georgian country house hotel near St Albans, and garden lighting at properties in The Chalfonts and Chesham. The business sponsors Harpenden Cricket Club and St Albans Rugby Club.
