About Kent EV
Kent EV is a small family-run business based in Faversham, Kent, specialising in electric vehicle charge point installation. Established in 2020, it installs home chargers across Kent and the South East, and it works on both brand new charge points and existing ones.
The business describes a straightforward process. After a customer gets in touch, it sends a link to online software so that a remote survey can be completed at a convenient time. That information is used to give a fixed quotation, and the team then recommends a charge point from its range to suit the vehicle, the way it is used and the home. Chargers on offer include smart models with app control, tethered and untethered options and smaller units that are less noticeable.
Kent EV says its team follows the EV charge point code of practice, which sets out safety measures, installation procedures and maintenance protocols. It also offers guidance on choosing a charger, from the first conversation through to installation.
