About Lavis Electrical
Lavis Electrical is a multi-sector electrical contractor based in Chacewater, four miles outside Truro, covering the whole of Cornwall. The business is NICEIC approved and a member of the FSB. It carries out domestic, commercial and industrial work for private clients, landlords, estate agents, local councils, schools and factories.
Domestic services include emergency callouts, audio-visual installation, electrical design, electrical heating, fault finding, lighting design and installation, home automation, security systems and CCTV, smoke and heat detection, and PAT testing. The business also advises on energy saving measures and renewable energy, supplies and installs mechanical ventilation heat recovery systems, and carries out electrical installation condition reports. Bespoke electrical work is undertaken from conception through design to installation, and holiday homes receive a complete electrical package.
Lavis Electrical is a family-run business. Engineers hold valid ECS cards and have enhanced DBS checks. The business holds public and products liability insurance and employers liability insurance. It is MCS certified and offers free estimates. Work is carried out to NICEIC standards, and electrical installation condition reports are issued for landlords and holiday home owners. The firm serves landlords with one property or larger portfolios, and it works with local councils and schools on larger projects.
