About Lewis Electrics ltd
Lewis Electrics Ltd is an electrician business in Blackburn run by a specialist in electrical fault finding. The business carries out domestic rewiring, installation of lighting and sockets, consumer unit upgrades, outdoor power, emergency call-outs and electric vehicle charger installations. Fault finding uses advanced diagnostic techniques to identify and rectify problems in electrical systems.
The business covers Blackburn and surrounding areas. A call-out service is available for electrical faults. An electrician uses specialized test equipment to identify the cause of an issue and may check for hidden problems.
EV charger installations involve wall mounting the charge point on an exterior wall or garage near to where the vehicle is parked, and connecting it safely to the mains electricity supply. A standard domestic charging point is rated at 7.2kW, around 32 amps. The unit is connected to the home WIFI or Dongle and commissioned before the electrician leaves site. A quotation visit and survey are carried out prior to installation to assess all requirements. Consumer unit changes provide upgrades to enhance protection and ensure the home's electrical system meets current regulations. Installation and rewiring work covers new builds and renovations.
