About MC2 Electrical Ltd
MC2 Electrical Ltd is a family-run electrical contracting business based in Leighton Buzzard. Founded in 1974 by Martin Gates, it has been trading for over 50 years and operates across Buckinghamshire. The business carries out domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work, including full and partial rewires, consumer unit upgrades, lighting design and installation, garden lighting and power, EV charging points, EICR testing and smoke alarm installation. Commercial services include office refurbishments, emergency lighting, data cabling in Cat5e and Cat6, office lighting installation, maintenance contracts, three phase installations and PAT testing. Industrial work covers three phase power installation, high bay lighting, distribution board upgrades, machine wiring, fault finding and preventative maintenance.
The business is run by Martin Gates and his son William Gates. Work begins with a consultation to discuss needs and survey the site, followed by a detailed fixed-price quote. Installation is then carried out, and everything is tested with certificates issued at the end. MC2 Electrical Ltd is NICEIC approved, Part P registered and fully insured.
