About Nene Valley Electrical Services
Nene Valley Electrical Services is an electrician business based in Thrapston. It carries out domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work across Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding areas, including Kettering. The services listed are full house rewires, partial rewires, consumer unit upgrades, fault finding and repairs, extra sockets and lights, smart home automation, EV charger installation, CCTV and security systems, data and network cabling, landlord safety certificates, underfloor heating electrics, three-phase industrial power, fire alarm systems, LED lighting upgrades, and extractor fans and ventilation.
Jobs start with a visit to diagnose the fault or assess the work needed, followed by an upfront quote. Electrical installation condition reports are provided for landlords, home buyers and commercial properties. Consumer units are upgraded to modern fuse boards with RCBO protection to meet BS7671 safety standards. Complete rewiring replaces outdated cabling. Smart home setups include automated heating controls and smart lighting. The business holds NAPIT, Part P and City and Guilds certification and carries public liability insurance. It has traded for over 30 years and offers a 24/7 emergency response service. A minimum call-out charge of £40 covers the initial travel and the first hour of fault finding and diagnostics.
