About Ness Electrical
Ness Electrical is an electrical contracting business based in Forfar, established in 1994. The company grew from the purchase of Forfar Electrical, a two-person operation, and later acquired J+D Ness in Brechin in 2000. Ness Electrical now employs twenty two staff across depots in Forfar and Brechin, with eight vehicles covering the Tayside area and beyond.
The business carries out electrical installation work in agricultural, industrial, commercial and domestic premises, from a single socket in a house to a complete factory installation. Domestic services include full house rewires, new sockets and lighting installation, consumer unit replacement and electric shower fitting. The business also installs CCTV systems, security lighting, smoke alarms and carries out PAT testing and electrical certification. Modern lighting, both internal and external, can be fitted, and power sockets with combined USB chargers are available. Consumer units are replaced to meet current demands or when existing units are outdated, and all work is tested and certified in accordance with BS7671.
All tradesmen are fully qualified to current industry accreditations. The business provides emergency electrical services to domestic and commercial customers throughout Angus. Ness Electrical works alongside architects, building inspectors and project planners on larger jobs, and fits work around other building services. Commercial customers receive advice on meeting building regulations requirements.
