About New Ohms Ltd
New Ohms Ltd is an electrician business in Todmorden run by Lee, who has 20 years of experience across Lancashire and the North West. The business carries out domestic rewiring, EV charger installation, consumer unit upgrades, electrical safety inspections, lighting installation, socket and switch work, and emergency call-outs. Lee is the electrician who attends each job.
The services listed are full rewires for properties over 25 years old or when extending and renovating, with all wiring and accessories replaced, a new consumer unit fitted, and every circuit tested. EV charger installation includes a home survey, charger recommendation, a dedicated circuit from the consumer unit and full electrical safety inspection. Consumer unit upgrades replace old fuse boards with modern units providing RCD and RCBO protection. Electrical Installation Condition Reports are carried out for landlords and homeowners. Lighting work covers recessed downlights, pendants, outdoor security lighting and smart systems. Additional sockets, USB outlets and outdoor sockets are fitted, and old sockets and switches are upgraded to modern finishes. Emergency call-outs respond to faults such as tripping circuits, power loss and dangerous wiring.
New Ohms covers Todmorden, Burnley, Halifax, Rochdale, Hebden Bridge, Littleborough, Bacup and surrounding areas. Work starts with a free written quote at a fixed price. All work is fully insured and tested to 18th Edition standards. Electrical Installation Certificates are provided for notifiable work.
