About North Herts Sparks Ltd
North Herts Sparks Ltd is an electrical business in Hitchin run by Dan, a NICEIC-registered electrician with City and Guilds qualifications. The business carries out domestic and commercial electrical work across Hertfordshire, with all jobs certified on completion to BS7671 wiring regulations.
Domestic services include new sockets and lighting installations, electrical fault finding and repairs, loft conversions and extensions, kitchen and bathroom electrical work, and smart home wiring. Commercial work covers office and retail fit-outs, three-phase power installations, emergency lighting systems, data and communications cabling, and planned preventative maintenance. The business replaces outdated fuse boxes with modern consumer units fitted with RCD protection, installs smart EV chargers compatible with all major vehicle brands, and carries out Electrical Installation Condition Reports for landlords, homeowners and business owners. Full and partial rewires are undertaken for older properties, and outdoor and security lighting systems are designed and installed. Emergency repairs are offered for power failures, tripping circuits, burning smells and exposed wiring.
North Herts Sparks covers Hertfordshire. Work begins with a visit and a written quote before any work starts. The business keeps slots free for new enquiries, and most jobs can be booked within days. Dan provides full paperwork on completion, including certificates and EICR reports.
