About Northants Electrical Co
Northants Electrical Co is a two-partner electrical contractor based in Northampton, covering domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural installations across Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas. Sam and Jamie set up the business after spending over ten years working across all four sectors, from house rewires through to site-wide installations.
The services listed are consumer unit upgrades, rewires, lighting, additional circuits, electric heating, CCTV and EV charger installation. For commercial work, the business designs and installs distribution boards and fit-outs, and carries out testing and inspection. On holiday parks, farms and rural business parks, it designs and installs site-wide electrical infrastructure. Landlord services include Electrical Installation Condition Reports, remedial work following failed reports, smoke and heat alarm installation, and void property electrical works. Emergency call-out cover is provided for existing clients.
Every job starts with a site survey, and a written fixed price follows rather than an estimate. Every installation is tested and certified on completion. Where a building needs to keep operating, the work is planned around its hours, including out of hours and overnight work.
Northants Electrical Co is NICEIC registered and fully insured. The partners hold City and Guilds 2391-52 in Inspection and Testing and City and Guilds 2921-34 in Domestic and Commercial EV Charging. The business has been trading for around two years. Recent projects include a 60-pitch camping expansion, a theatre fault rectification, a retail conversion and a rural business park.
