About Northern Tec Ltd
Northern Tec Ltd is a NICEIC-approved electrical contractor based in Thornton, serving landlords, letting agents, homeowners and businesses across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. The business was founded by Alex Evans and Jack after two decades of combined experience installing and certifying electrical systems across the North West. It now operates as a team of six directly-employed electricians, each NICEIC-qualified.
The services listed are EICRs and landlord compliance, EV charger installation, solar PV and battery storage, full rewires, consumer unit upgrades, fire alarm systems and commercial electrical installation. Domestic work includes single sockets through to full consumer unit upgrades, LED lighting upgrades and smart home automation. Commercial services cover shop fit-outs, office strip-outs, restaurant kitchens and warehouse distribution, installed at nights and weekends to avoid disrupting trading hours. CCTV and security installation with 4K HD recording is also offered.
Northern Tec Ltd covers Blackpool, Cleveleys, Lytham, St Annes, Fleetwood, Poulton, Preston, Lancaster, Morecambe and surrounding areas. Every installation is tested under BS 7671 18th Edition and signed off with the relevant certificate. The business issues fixed written quotations before work begins and holds public liability insurance of £5 million. It is OZEV-approved for EV charger installation and MCS-aligned for solar work.
