About Oncharge EV
Oncharge EV is a family-run electrical contracting company based in Weymouth. It installs EV charging points in homes and at commercial premises, and it supplies chargers from multiple manufacturers including Zaptec Go 2, Sync Energy Link, Andersen EV Quartz, Easee Charge 22kW, Ohme Epod 7kW and Ohme Home Pro 7kW. The business advises on tethered or socketed options and on government grants available to customers. All chargers supplied have smartphone apps for Android and iOS to manage charging and track history.
Oncharge EV covers Dorset, Hampshire, Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. The business was established in 2012 and has completed over 1000 EV charging point installations across the UK. Work begins with a survey to assess each property. The company is fully accredited and issues certificates for all work. Customers can visit the Weymouth showroom to see charger models and finishes before deciding.
For properties where charging is shared or paid for, Oncharge EV partners with TAP Electric to manage user access, payments and charging tariffs. The business configures the app for each customer so they can plug in and use all available features. Installation is carried out by a team that works at homes and workplaces across the region.
