About Rae Electrical
Rae Electrical is a family-run electrician business in Belfast with over 30 years of experience in electrical installation and testing. It is a member of NICEIC and holds public liability insurance. Services include Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) for landlords, homeowners and businesses, complete rewiring of properties, electrical upgrades to modernise existing systems, emergency lighting installations, electric vehicle charging points, and additions to existing installations such as extra circuits and outlets.
The business works on residential and commercial projects across Belfast. EICR reports evaluate the condition of wiring, sockets, switches and other components, identify potential hazards and wear, and outline recommendations for repairs or improvements. Complete rewiring replaces all electrical wiring, fixtures and components to enhance safety and meet modern electrical standards. Electrical upgrades involve replacing outdated wiring, upgrading electrical panels and installing energy-efficient fixtures. Emergency lighting includes battery-backed lights placed in buildings to illuminate exit routes and stairwells, activating automatically during power failures. Electric vehicle charging points are installed at homes and workplaces. Additions to electrical systems integrate new components or expand existing setups to accommodate increased demand, with upgrades to electrical panels where necessary. Smart home technologies can be integrated during upgrades and rewiring. The team maintains a tidy approach on site and works efficiently to complete jobs on time.
