About Richard Craig Electrical Ltd
Richard Craig Electrical Ltd is a family-run electrical contracting business based in Hereford. The company was founded in 1991 by Richard Craig following his completion of a full Industrial Electrical Engineering apprenticeship, and became a NICEIC approved contractor in 2002. Luke Craig joined the company in 2014, and the business is now a limited company operating across industrial, commercial, agricultural and domestic sectors.
The services listed are design, installation, commissioning and servicing of electrical systems. Industrial work includes single and three phase installation, emergency and security lighting, and industrial design and build. Commercial projects cover offices, hospitality and shop refits, with testing and inspecting also offered. Agricultural installations include chicken sheds and farm buildings, with 24 hour breakdown cover available for local farms. Cold storage, packhouses and factories are serviced for machinery maintenance and refrigeration systems. Domestic work covers alterations, full rewires, fault finding, heating and lighting systems, new builds, extensions, barn conversions and electric vehicle charging points.
Richard Craig Electrical Ltd covers Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Evesham. The team comprises NICEIC engineers, most of whom completed apprenticeships within the company. In 2019 the business registered with the OLEV scheme and created an EV Charging department, offering charge point installation for workplaces and domestic households. The business also hires powered platform access equipment ranging from 1.6 metres to 8 metres platform height for both indoor and outdoor projects.
