About RMD Electrical & Renewables
RMD Electrical & Renewables is a family-run company based in Havant, Hampshire, with more than two decades of experience. It offers home and commercial clients a range of services across electrical work, EV chargers and solar energy, and says its core principles are quality and integrity.
On the electrical side, the work includes consumer unit upgrades using 18th Edition RCD and surge protected metal enclosed units, rectifying wiring faults, wiring new build homes and businesses, and extra power and lighting, from an additional pendant light to power for a garden room. The business works as a NICEIC contractor, follows Part P regulations and notifies building control where necessary. A Minor Works or Electrical Installation Certificate is provided with its work.
It also installs EV chargepoints for homes and businesses, and offers solar and battery packages. The work is carried out by its own electricians rather than subcontractors, and customers can arrange a survey, including a video survey, before installation.
