About SET Electrical Ltd.
SET Electrical Ltd is an electrician business in Tynemouth founded in 2020 by Shaun. The business carries out domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work, including full rewires, partial rewires, consumer unit upgrades, electric vehicle charging points, electric shower installation, lighting installation, remedial work, electrical repair, emergency lighting, fire and smoke alarm systems, intruder alarm systems and CCTV systems. Electrical inspection and testing, earth bonding and service relocation are also offered.
The business covers the North East of England and provides a 24/7 emergency call-out service. Shaun trained through an apprenticeship in the commercial and industrial sector. SET Electrical has gained knowledge in temporary power, offering electrical support to local temporary power companies for major national stadium events and festivals. Work begins with a free quote and survey visit. The business is part of the Napit team and works in compliance with British standards and building regulations.
Domestic properties require inspection and testing every 5 to 10 years for rented dwellings or privately owned homes. Commercial settings are tested every 3 to 5 years, and high-risk public areas such as swimming pools and cinemas are recommended for annual checks. Shaun has developed skills across a range of domestic dwellings and completes work from design through to installation and maintenance.
