About Shine Electrics
Shine Electrics is a family-run electrician business based in Ashtead, established over 50 years ago by Graham Shine. Edd joined following an apprenticeship in 2000, Matt joined in 2010, and Jon joined in 2018. The business carries out domestic and commercial electrical work across Surrey and south London, including areas such as Wallington, Sutton, Wimbledon, Carshalton, Cheam, Croydon, Mitcham, Banstead, Epsom, Morden, Caterham, Dorking, Reigate, Redhill and Crawley.
Services include rewires, fuseboard upgrades, lighting upgrades and design, EV car charging installation, security lighting and video doorbells, storage heater replacement, TV installation with hidden cables, home networking and wifi extenders, fault finding, and electrical inspection and certification for landlords and letting agencies. The team carries out emergency callouts at any time of day or night.
Shine Electrics has been a NICEIC approved contractor for over 20 years. The electricians hold City and Guilds Licentiateship qualifications and are registered on the UK Register of Electricians. All team members completed five-year apprenticeships with Electrical Installations Limited under the JIB scheme. The business holds full public liability, employers liability and contractors insurance. Free quotations are available, and the team works to minimise disruption during full rewires.
