Simons Electrical Services Ltd is a NICEIC approved electrical contractor based in Melton Mowbray, founded in 2018 by Szymon Okonowski. The business carries out domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work, including full and partial house rewires, consumer unit upgrades, extra sockets and light fittings, indoor and outdoor lighting, security lights, smoke and fire alarms, CCTV wiring, data and TV aerial points, EV chargers, extension and new-build wiring, and landlord and homeowner electrical installation condition reports.
For commercial clients, Simons Electrical Services provides installations and fit-outs, periodic inspection reports, scheduled annual testing, additional lighting and sockets, emergency lighting installation and testing, PAT testing, reactive maintenance and fault finding. Industrial work includes single and three-phase equipment, distribution board installation and renewal, lighting system renewal, emergency lighting, and control systems and motor circuits.
The business covers the whole of Leicestershire and Rutland, including Leicester, Loughborough, Oakham, Market Harborough and Hinckley. Szymon surveys each job, provides a free written quote, carries out the work and signs off the certificate. All installations are designed, tested and certified to BS 7671, and notifiable domestic work is self-certified under Part P of the Building Regulations. The business is fully insured for domestic and commercial work. Floors and furniture are protected during work, and the site is cleaned every day. Szymon is available for emergency calls and provides a local number for aftercare questions.
